Summer silence

It has been silent around here.. And will be even more. :) At least for a while, as we are enjoying our vacation and our summer.

So far we have been quite calmly at home, and the weather has been nice, so outside a lot. I haven't gotten to taking any pictures, it's fun as it is.

She is doing really funny stuff.. :D

Like, this is the pillow, where I sit on the floor, when I'm playing with her. Some little time ago she started taking her doll (actually just recently she started playing with other of her dolls as well (she has 3) - including the one I made for her) to the pillow, crawl all up there (takes an effort!) and sit there. :D It's so cute.

And other funny thing.. This is her pushing cart. She used to use it correctly. But I guess it took one time, as Mr. Husband put her in there to push around.. Of course, it's fun. ;) So now she is constantly trying to crawl in there (it's kinda too small for her and too unstable for this purpose), and sits, ready to be pushed around. :D Once she starts standing up there, it gets dangerous.

I guess it's a sign that she wants to ride around.. Until now, whenever we offered her to sit on one of those plastic cars, where she could push herself around, she was scared and not into it. But today in shop we tried one.. And she kinda even liked it. :) So really should look, what to buy for her. (The one at the shop was not very nice, but cost 60 eur..)

People like this Pukylino or something. It's 4 wheel and stable. Also cheap.

But maybe.. It's too stable? Like, it doesn't take any effort in balancing at all. I like the idea of her starting some little balancing.. Of course, not an actual balance bike yet, but something on 3 wheels (back 2 close together), I know some little more than 1 year olds are able to ride them.. Something like this?

It would be nice to try one before buying.

  1. The plastic motorbike will be much noisier than Pukylino...the one you posted here, it has rather small wheels, therefore it might not be comfortable to ride on any other surface than a road. I would actually go with Pukylino.
