She's gonna be a surfer
Yesterday was the best day! :) Seriously, it's like my favorite kind. We hopped in the car and went for a little trip.
Lately have had too little of such days, partly because of being busy at home and garden and partly because of worrying, how Adelaide would enjoy it. But she loved it!
We didn't go anywhere really far, but explored places that are near enough. And there is still so much more to see! I love such simple trips around the homeland - just driving through the cute villages, seeing all the old churches and mansions on the way, and - of course - the beautiful nature.
We started the trip at Harju-Risti church (we love churches), and it was a weird coincidence that the service had just started, and Adelaide had fallen asleep in the car, so we could even start our Sunday with a church service. (Another subject, but we get to go to church sooo rarely now. When she was a baby, it wasn't difficult at all, and we went quite often. But now - this curious, loud, running-around 1-year-old? No, not a great combination.. I wish there would be more family-friendly services available.) But now we got to go, and it was a really nice way to start the day.
The next stop was the beautiful Tänavjärv lake - a beautiful lake with sandy beach in a total serenity, middle of nowhere, middle of a swamp.. Had to drive through a horrible gravel rode forever to get to it. But it was worth it.. And worth to return, for many days perhaps..
And you turn your back for one second, and - of course - where does she go?
It's impossible to keep her away from the water!
But we couldn't let her swim this time, as she still has a cold and it wasn't very warm. :)
Next we checked out the Roosta beach, and ate there too, as we were starving.. The ice cream shake was really good. :)
But the funniest thing was, that Adelaide was really enjoying this place, she found the surf boards and then it was impossible to get her away from there. :D She was just chilling on the board, dancing in the rhythm of some surfer music.. So cute, everyone loved the little surfer girl! :D
Next we went to see the Dirhami port..
She is such a cute little toddler. :) Especially when she's happy. And, yes, she has been in a surprisingly good mood for days now!
And there is an amazing view also at the Põõsaspea neem - where land stretches in the sea.
And the perfect ending for our trip - we picked a belly- and bucket-full of blueberries. :)
The little blueberry-mouth. :)
It was an amazing day! And for today - some blueberry pie..
