Playing outside and in
So, what's new?
The weather is great! (We hear it was the last day of the great weather.. so sad.) We just love it! Spending a lot of time outside.. Not in the most hottest time of the day, because the sun is really burning..
Actually thinking that should figure out, what exactly to do outside. She doesn't really have any outside toys yet, so far hadn't needed them really, but hopefully soon we'll have a sandbox and toys as well.
And sometimes this happens.. :) Yes, we are the parents that allow our child to taste stuff outside. :D
And when we need to hide from the sun, she is showing some new improved skills indoors! For a while we had forgotten about our indoor toys.. And then once she just took the pyramid (she often chooses it herself, not other things) and put all the pieces on with no problem at all! And she takes it apart right away as well, putting it together again and again.. (Maybe she sees that something is not right? She doesn't put it in the right order yet, of course. I'm not sure.)
She can spend a lot of time with it.
Somehow today we suddenly noticed that she is such a big and tall child! :) And so senseful. Explaining something in her own language.. Some fast change in development is happening for sure.
And, naturally, it comes with her being extra needy and clingy, and me being extra tired. But you gotta do what you gotta do. :) These days go while giving her a lot of one-on-one attention. She is playing nicely only, if we're sitting right there.
She also has weirdly increased the breastfeeding times.. Nursing so many times during the day (let's not talk about the nights..), that I feel like I have a little baby again in this way. Again, have heard that this should be quite normal for this age, same as the neediness. It's not easy for her - growing up so fast.
Yes, and more and more times during the day we stare with awe - hey! The child is standing! :D Standing without holding on, that is. She is getting better and better at it, making her couple of steps as well.
