When all the parties are done
We had a really busy birthday week. :)
Next day after the birthday had my parents here.. We went to the swamp, where we were in the winter, checked out, how is it looking now, and tried out our new Tula Baby Carrier for the first time.
Quite happy with it, it is really comfortable.. Only, on the small side. I couldn't decide whether to buy Baby or Toddler size, and Toddler seemed a bit big for her still.. And Baby seems a bit small. But it's ok, I guess. Still fine for some time, as she is not growing that fast anymore, and if we really will want to, we can buy Toddler size too..
Then we had another party on Friday, with our choir.
On Saturday we visited Latvian Culture days in Estonia.. The event was small and not as nice as hoped, it was nice to listen to some traditional Midsummer Day's songs, but once it started raining, we were packing and going home.
Yesterday we were at a birthday party for another 1 year old. It was quite nice, Adelaide could play with some other children (or fight over toys. She doesn't find yet, but a bit older children can be very feisty. Adelaide doesn't care and we don't care, but always we have to listen as parents pressure their little one "to be nice and share". Oh well, maybe we will be there someday..), but most she liked the swing, which we tried after the party. :) It was her first time in a swing.
As she liked it so much, we should put one up in our own yard. But we don't have a suitable place (a tree), so need to build a whole structure.. For next summer, hopefully.
SO. And after all these parties and goings, finally we had a usual day just at home. It's funny, how Adelaide doesn't want to be outside and play in the sandbox for too long. At some moment she just decides - crawls out of the sandbox, goes all across the yard, crawls up the terrace stairs and goes inside. :) And she doesn't even care, if I stay out.
Oh, and one tiny thing.. Her hair are getting long. Doesn't she look like a big girl?! :)
