Jasmiina - 3 months old!

Our little ball of joy is already 3 months old! :) Unbelievable!

3 months, that's a big deal! The first newborn period, the so-called "4th trimester" is ending.. (It's considered, that about 3 months after birth the baby is sort of not ready for the world yet, that the baby would actually need and want to be inside the womb still, so is content and happy in a womb-like environment..)
With Adelaide we definitely saw a change exactly around 3 months. Until that she, for example, would sleep only in the wrap, at precisely 3 months she started sleeping in the stroller.
Interesting, will we see a noticable change in Jasmiina too. :) In any case, she is growing so fast.

Jasmiina is such a big smiler! And what's new -  a little while ago she started laughing a bit too! :) She definitely is a happy baby. She is very sensitive and connecting on a very personal level.. She's looking into our eyes, always, and talking so much. What's interesing is that Adelaide wasn't like this, she was so different.. That's so cool, to see how they are similar and at the same time so different.

Lately Jasmiina definitely has discovered her hands. Not using them much yet, even though - ! exactly today I noticed, that she has grabbed a toy that was next to her, and was looking at it! So really, the ability of using her hands is developing quickly. But mostly she has learned how to get them to her mouth, so she has her hands in the mouth a lot, almost all the time. :) Which is cute and normal, of course, at first she will investigate her hands, and then she will start investigating everything else that she can get to..

She is quite active, but probably it will be stil some time until rolling over. But every day with her is so fun and so amazing. :)

Adelaide is very generous older sister and often offers a toy for Jasmiina, says nicely: please! (Ludzu in Latvian or Palun in Estonian.)
