Jasmiina - 2 months old!
There is no 31st in February.. (and in some other months as well) So an interesting problem occurred! When is Jasmiina 2 months old? :) We had a discussion, whether it should be celebrated on the 1st then.. But Mr. Husband's logic won the argument this time, and it makes sense, that we shall celebrate the last day of every month.. So, happy 2 month birthday, our sweet, amazing Jasmiina! :)
It is also the day before the great lent today - vastlapäev in Estonia! (Or vastlāvji, kinda lika meteņi in Latvia..) So we are celebrating by baking traditional Estonian food of this day - buns with whipped cream. A little different version of the 2-month cake. We also should go slide down the hill.. There even is some little bit of snow left this year, but with 2 children there is no more time left after baking the buns. When they will be a bit bigger, for sure.. Adelaide actually already likes sliding from the hill.
Jasmiina's monthly photo session was in a pajamas. :) Another sign of the fact that having two children is catching up with me.. But it's a cute new pajamas (size 3-6 months), so I don't mind. ;)
So, yes, Jasmiina has grown a lot in this month again.. Probably she has gained at least a kilo (tomorrow we'll see). But not only in the size she has grown, she has also become so much more mature, so much more keen to communicate with us! She is looking at us always and tracking us and other moving objects.. She is smiling so widely (she has an adorable smile!) whenever we engage in a conversation with her, and she tries to goo something back.
She is starting to squirm, move her arms and legs a lot more.
Still doesn't like to be on her belly much, or even if she doesn't mind it, she's still not lifting her head very much. She is an amazing sleeper, still sleeping a lot.. But has a couple of decent awake periods now as well. :) And she has a sister, who loves her.. ;)
