New bike and new shoes
Lately Adelaide has a period, that she has to sit everywhere - sit in anything, on anything, anywhere! Anywhere, where she can get up or squeeze her little butt in - she sits in infant car seats, if those are lying around somewhere, she sits on plastic bottles, on boxes.. You bring it and she will sit on it. :) (Oh, she also loves the potty now and wants to sit on it all the time - only never long enough to make something in it. I guess we should embrace this more somehow..)
That's why it was clear to us, that she desperately needed something, where she could sit on..
One option might have been the jumping animal, you know, this thing.. It was in Hiiumaa, and if last time she didn't know, what to do with it, apart from chewing it's ears and tail, then this time she surprised us and immediately sat onto it, and was riding it a bit too. :) (Not actually moving forward yet, but just jumping up and down.)
But the other option, that we had planned to buy her anyway, was a bike. Sort of a pre-balance bike (not an actual balance bike yet, as she is a bit too young for that still), and the choice was made to buy the Puky bike.
We went to the shop to see them, because I wanted to try the sizes - whether to buy the smallest size Pukylino, or already the next size - Puky Wutsch. And as she could sit comfortably on the Wutsch, we bought that one. :)
She liked them already in the shop, it was impossible to get her off.
And here is a video of her trying it for the first time at home..
..naturally, it ends with a fall. :D But that's a good thing actually - we chose this bike, as it is a good pre-balance bike option, instead of some tricycle or a bike, that a parent pushes, this actually helps to develop some balance.
Texting and driving. :D
So far we are very happy with it. Adelaide seems to be too. She has to learn to steer better, and let's hope she starts loving to ride her bike. :)
..and then today arrived another new thing for her - her new Little Blue Lamb shoes from muki.lv shop. As autumn has surprised us so early, we needed some new closed type of shoes for her. Even though the old ones are totally perfect still.. These we took a size bigger. And they are really nice too.
Adelaide liked them immediately! :D She wanted to put them on.. And once I put them, she was saying: Õue, õue! (Out, out! in Estonian) And wanted to go outside. :)
