Jasmiina - 6 months!!!

Half a year! :) Our little Jasmiina is with us for half a year already!

Actually today is a double reason to celebrate, because it is also our 5th wedding anniversary!
5 years ago was also a rainy day, but nicer than today.. :)

So we had big plans, going out to celebrate etc.. But both of our girls have gotten runny noses, so instead we have spent this day cleaning and organizing our home.. as well as watching some wedding videos. :) Of course, there was cake (strawberry cheesecake) too.

I guess because of her runny nose or just simply it's such a day, our smiley sunshine Jasmiina wasn't as happy as she usually is on her photo-sessions..

I can't believe that she is so big already.. Time goes differently with the second child. Faster, actually! But that's why I feel like she's still a tiny baby..

Even though actually she does a lot already! We still can't get her to roll over.. She doesn't seem interested, but even if I try to get her to it, she almost does, almost.
But every other way she is quite flexible and active.

She enjoys being on her tummy a lot. She could spend like this most of the time, it seems. (Even though I put her 50% of the time on her back..) And while I was making these pictures, she turned 180 degrees around herself - at first she noticed the interesting lambskin, then the balloon.. Then there was Adelaide with a toy, and all the way back to me. :)

Jasmiina doesn't eat anything else yet besides breastmilk. Even though she is 6 months old.. would be the time to start. But she is not so stable yet, she doesn't sit at all unsupported, so, as we want to do Baby led weaning, same as with Adelaide, it seems too early to start. She should sit upright, otherways it could be dangerous. So we'll see. I definitely don't feel like there's any rush to begin solid foods with her. And I think my inner gut feeling is right, so we will follow it. Adelaide was experimenting with finger food around this age already, but she was entirely different in this physical development. And even so, she still didn't really eat anything much for a couple of more months. So no rush, Jasmiina. :) (She doesn't also seem really interested in food.. Yes, putting everything into her mouth, spoons, etc.. But not food, really.)

Today is a lap day for Jasmiina, she was only truly happy in our arms. :) Or - when laughing about Adelaide! The big sister is her favorite, even if Jasmiina is not in a good mood and is not very happy anyhow, Adelaide comes and she's ecstatic! :)

So 1/2 year is gone.. I believe that the next 6 months will be very interesting for all of us. :)
