Winter and new tricks!
This is our first totally free weekend in long time. I really wanted to enjoy it to the fullest.. But it's so hard to come up with a way to do it. With a little bit sick baby (it seems she actually is finally healthy), cold winter (not so cold, only -11 C today) and half a meter of snow everywhere. I have no wish to go anywhere in her awake time, as it's best for her to be in a suitable environment, where she can move around freely. And during her nap time she has to be able to nap. Eh, hard to schedule a life around a baby..
Ourselves we probably would have taken a little trip somewhere, to enjoy this beautiful winter. And that's what I wanted to do now as well - take a nice walk in a snowy forest.
The walk didn't work out exactly the way I had hoped.. There was too much of snow. :D And the paths weren't cleaned..
Even though or stroller has big wheels (so we actually got through!), it still was quite impossible.
But at home..
Last couple of days Adelaide has started to pull herself up - and she is already totally vertically on her knees! (While holding onto something.)
But today! She was holding on to her old rocking chair, and pulled herself up onto her feet!!! So.. pretty much she was standing for the first time.
I'm saying "pretty much", as the chair is quite low, and that's why she couldn't pull herself up really high and straight. But well, she was on her feet, so I guess it counts. :)
