We survived!
So, me and Adelaide, we survived a whole 5 days just the two of us! :)
While Mr. Husband was in New York (!) for work, seeing this..
..we were on our own. And the cat.
Looking forward to it, it seemed crazy. So long.. With or without Adelaide, but for like 3 years we haven't been separated for more than 2 days at a time.
And with Adelaide.. well, I am spoiled. Mr. Husband even works mostly from home.
But what one must do, must do. And it wasn't so bad.
I had planned some social activities, just to not feel too lonely at home and that the time would pass faster.
On Day 1 we went to the horrible music lesson..
Actually I had planned to go to two more baby activities, but that somehow didn't happen, and after the music lesson experience I understood, that there is no point, really. Unless I find something better..
We also made quite a shopping trip on Day 1, so ended up quite exhausted.
So on Day 2, because of that, just decided to stay home and rest. Usual, calm day, including some house cleaning.
Because on Day 3 one friend with her little girl, just a month younger than Adelaide, came to visit! Which was really nice. We all seemed to enjoy it. And that kind of socializing for her I am happy for.. So we decided, if possible, we will make these playdates more regular, maybe meeting up every second week from now on.
On Day 4 we were supposed to go to another baby activity, but Adelaide got some weird fever! No other symptoms. I don't know, what it was, I suspect she got some weird virus on the Monday music lesson.. But it passed easily. But because of it we didn't do much, only made another shopping trip, to buy ingredients for a royal dinner to welcome Daddy home. :)
And on Day 5.. Preparing, cooking, and after her nap going to the airport.. And here, back he is! :) We are so happy. <3 We don't like to be apart.
So but being just the two of us wasn't so bad. Everything got done.. Home was clean and meals were warm.. :D And we had an ok time. But being all together is so much better.
Another interesting fact, Adelaide enjoyed face-time calls! :) But only on the phone. On the computer she somehow didn't..
