Summer day

Lately it has been quiet around here. In the blog, that is. Not here, our home, where it's running from one baby to another, as each is needing something, both at the same time.

But today was a beautiful day. Finally, suddenly, a real, hot summer day! Well, almost summer.. I guess that technically it's still spring, but definitely felt like summer.

We spent most of the day on the swing. (A little peek at Adelaide's birthday gift, that's almost ready..)

And we even ate outside, Adelaide loves picnics.
The tent that her grandmother made for her 1st birthday, really comes out handy now.

Especially for Jasmiina, that is. It's finally warm enough to just put her down outside, and this tent is a great hideout from the sun.

Adelaide got a new doll.. We had thought about getting her a doll stroller, but didn't actually plan to, as she has already so many toys.. But this was a hand-me-down, that offered itself (from Mr. Husband's boss), so we didn't say no, and she loves it, of course.

This, by the way, is a perfect Montessori swing. That was also our intention. It's a bit early for Adelaide to use a totally usual swing, she can sit there, of course, but is not exactly stable enough.. At the same time, she is too old for a total baby swing. I wanted something in between, and - importantly - that she could get in and out herself. And this turned out to be perfect, as she can!

And little chubby Jasmiina.. I see a nice part of having a winter baby now - now at summer she gets to be in this cute chubby baby age, lie on the grass and be cute. :)

There's so much more to write and tell.. But the heat is just adding to my exhaustion! So, another time..
