Who's getting big?

Picture from last Mother's Day..

We had our doctor's appointment a couple of days ago with Jasmiina. She is about 4,5 months old now.. But to me, she still feels like a total baby! Newborn baby, I mean.. That's why I'm surprised, when she is so big and smart already, reaching for the toys perfectly well, grabbing everything and putting into her mouth. She follows noises and people perfectly, immediately turning to the one speaking or making noise. She has started to show opinions and preferences! There is one wooden toy-rattle, that she hates. She gets frustrated by it, every single time! At first we couldn't understand.. Why is she suddenly frustrated? Turns out, it's the particular rattle. :) Doesn't fit into her mouth well enough, or something.. Others, again, she likes very much, like Sophie. Sophie is just the best.

So Jasmiina right now weighs

8,310 kg and is

68 cm tall.

Around the same age Adelaide was 8,1 kg and 67 cm, so again, almost the same. Jasmiina is maybe a tad bigger, especially she feels taller. She seems to have a taller body and legs than Adelaide did.

She is getting stronger and stronger, if I put her on the tummy, she can lift herself better and better. It is still not her favorite position though, for a little while she enjoys it, but not for long.

But it is obvious, that the time is running fast, can't believe she will be 5 months old soon..
