Rhythm gone bad..
Following my previous post..
I was just writing it, as the clock was about 12 and the baby started fussing and moving a bit in the wrap, probably crossing a sleep cycle. Usually I would still leave her in the wrap, as long as she wakes up totally and/or is unhappy there.
But now, as I just had written that the morning nap should last until 12, I decided to take her out..
Oh my. I got an unhappy, sleepy baby! :D Turns out, she wanted to sleep some more. So the lesson is - always, always still follow the childs lead, not "the rhythm"! The rhythm should adjust to the baby, not vice versa.
There was some not-so-happy awake time for a bit more than an hour, and she is back in the wrap. Asleep. ;)
