Playing, licking a pear and catching toes

I had a little pause in blog posts.. Because it seemed there was nothing much to write about. (We do not celebrate Halloween..)
It's just the little things.. Every day is more or less the same, so what are we doing?

I mentioned the Bonnie doll from Mamas&Papas, Adelaide still likes it..

It seems that she is suddenly more attracted to anything new! It wasn't so much like that before.. Now, if she sees something new, she has to have it! She goes totally crazy and needs to taste it!
It was like that with Bonnie. She was crazy about it at first. Now she likes it, yes, but the excitement is not the same.

It makes it impossible to eat. We can't have a peaceful breakfast or dinner anymore, because she has to have, what we are having.. (If she would be on the floor right there, it would be ok. But somehow happens, that she exactly is getting tired and cranky, when we eat, so we end up holding her in the lap.)

Once she so, so, so! much wanted to have our food.. That I found something that seemed appropriate to give her to try. I gave her half a pear (from grandmother's garden). She attacked it! And seemed to really love it..

..it even made me question, should we really start giving her some food now? But then I realized this thing, that she likes everything new now. We tried it with other things - giving her a spoon, for example - and she was just as excited.
She did seem to enjoy the taste. So I can't wait when she starts eating.. But decided still to wait until she's sitting.

Another new thing.. She is finally discovering her toes! So far she seemed a bit tense, as she has grown so big so fast. But now I can see that she is becoming more mobile, her feet are coming up more (especially when she's naked), and she is reaching for her toes and trying to put them into her mouth. :) That doesn't quite come out yet.
