Baking peppercakes
It seems, that baking peppercakes (gingerbreads) shortly before Christmas with Adelaide's Godparents is turning into a tradition.. (We had a really nice time last year.)
This year Adelaide was already participating! :) She likes rolling with the rolling pin a lot, however, she can just roll an empty table.. She doesn't realize or care for the dough yet. Well, next year! :)
She was, however, helping to make the frosting. :)
I baked traditional Latvian buns, both salty (with speck) and sweet.
And instead of a gingerbread house we had an Eiffel tower this time. ;)
So.. we are all ready and prepared. The Christmas can come now! ;)
Of course, the biggest anticipation is, when is our little Christmas miracle going to decide to come join us.. Hopefully, any day now..
