My 3 month old
So this little cutie is now 3 and a half months old, time for a 3 month overall update.
She holds her head up perfectly, tummy-time is her favourite time.
I did not move the sock It was as far as in the first picture and she got to it! |
Her hand coordination is better than ever, if anything comes near to her, she grabs it (with both hands) and puts it straight to her mouth.
She is drooling.. a lot!
She is very demanding. If there is something she wants, she demands it loudly! Also, she wants to do things on her own. For example, she is doing everything she can, to put Sophie (the rubber giraffe) into her mouth. If she succeeds, she is super happy. But if I try to move the giraffe to her mouth myself, she gets angry.
She is starting to laugh! :) :) :)
She has laughed a couple of times so far. It's not so easy to make her laugh yet. Once I was giving her kisses, then she laughed. Another time her shirt went on her face, while I was changing her, and she found it funny. But today she laughed so much, as she never has before, when daddy was kissing her belly!
She can be on her own, on her back or on her belly (on the floor or in the bed) for quite a long time (if not very tired). Just looking around, tying to get to something or sucking on something. And whenever I come to her, she is all super big smiles! :) She responds with a huge smile every time, when someone talks to her.
She is a lot better in the car seat than before, last long drives have been a lot better - if she wakes up, then can look around or look at a toy.
She loves bath time, especially in the big bath with mommy! She never cries anymore in the bath. (Before, if she was tired, the bath time was no fun.. Now she can handle it, even if tired.)
She doesn't roll over yet. A couple of times has shown a little interest.
She likes to sleep in the stroller. She falls asleep very soon after has been put there and the stroller starts moving. She takes naps also in the bed, falling asleep with the breast. We don't use the wrap almost at all anymore.. (And I'm quite happy about it, as she is so heavy! 7 kg baby is a lot to carry.. I'm happy that I was using it a lot in the first 3 months, when it was important for her.. Now I have it in case we might need it. And sometimes I use a ring sling, when she is awake and wants to look around.)
